What equipment do I need to use 8x8 services?
Answer
To enjoy the 8x8 communication services, you need a high speed (broadband) Internet connection (such as DSL, cable or a T1). For business services, you will need an 8x8 advanced IP phone that is easy to use or one of our other telephone selections.
For residential services and Business Basic, 8x8 will provide the Uniden VoIP Phone System. The Uniden system allows you to have a base station connected to the Internet and up to 10 cordless handsets dispersed throughout your home or office.
For those interested in video calls, you can upgrade to a more sophisticated device with the option of purchasing a 8x8 VideoPhone to enjoy making video calls to other 8x8 VideoPhone users, as well as audio-only calls to anyone. Videophone calls are unlimited worldwide. Audio only calls using the VideoPhone are unlimited to any number in the US or Canada.
