What is an IP call?


Answer

IP (Internet Protocol) calls are carried over the Internet without interacting with the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network). There are no long distance or telephone fees for IP calls between 8x8 customers. In addition, costs to transmit calls to traditional telephones is much less expensive.
